It's the Year of the Dog! And to celebrate, PRADA launched it's seasonal fragrance packaging, featuring my work, worldwide in February 2018. Xīn nián kuài lè!
A few new pieces for fall, and a bit of fun!
I've just wrapped up a really fun project for Imperial College London. Each year Imperial holds an alumni event for graduates and their families. My job was to create a design for a t-shirt, and several shadow puppets to be laser-cut. All this as part of a fantastic loot bag for the kids, complete with a flashlight, for this year's theme 'the year of light'!
Today's Parent recently commissioned me to create these sweet horoscope icons for the wee ones.
Keep your eyes open this spring for these lovely little notecards from teNeues!
They're a part of the GreenGift-Notes line of environmentally-friendly stationery, which uses soy-based inks on a luxurious uncoated paper stock.
It's midsummer, and the fields & meadows are buzzing with activity...what's happening in your part of the world?
Summertime is the best time to explore your creativity, especially if you are a kid.
Cheryl Rego of the Varley Gallery in Markham approached me recently to design & illustrate a sketchbook for their summer art camps. Each child enrolled receives their very own book to record their thoughts, ideas and creativity... all in one fun place!
And why stop at one? we decided to run a couple of different colour choices for these budding young artists...
A bit of fun with a lovely story in Canadian Living Magazine, in the pages of their current December 2012 issue.
A great opportunity to use very graphic & playful imagery for this piece on protecting money 'in trust'... loved the colour palette.
Canada Post has just released the latest in it's Lunar New Year series of stamps. I am honoured to have had the opportunity to work with both Canada Post, and HM&E Design who designed this year's stamp.
Embellished with embossed foil stamping, the rabbit hops from stamp to stamp. The use of gold references "metal" as the element of this Year of the Rabbit.
I was also commissioned to create a second illustration, which was then translated into a beautiful embroidered piece of art, and photographed as imagery for the international stamp.
2011 is the Year of the Rabbit. It begins February 3, 2011, and promises to be a peaceful year.
